Castleknock under 10s hit the ground running
The Castleknock Under 10's opened their hurling season with a home win
against a gallant Bray Emmets team last Saturday in Porterstown.
Playing two games against the Wicklow team, the Castleknock lads were
quickly out of the blocks in both games taking an early lead which Bray
never managed to claw back. The display featured some fine long-range
scores to ensure that the result was never in doubt.
The
team has been training hard over the winter months and it showed as
they ran out comfortable winners in both games. Making their debuts
for Castleknock were Sean Gibbins and Ronnie Nakinen and both contributed
handsomely to a productive day for the Castleknock team.
