Brigids’
supporters going to the races
As
part of the fundraising efforts of local GAA club St. Brigid’s
for the development of their Russell Park complex, the club is hosting
a day at the races in Punchestown on Wednesday 23rd April.
According to organiser, Mike Sweeney, “this is a key event for
St. Brigids GAA club and a great opportunity for local businesses and
sponsors to entertain guests or clients for a very reasonable per head
cost.”
The event will be held to coincide with the ever popular Champions Day
at Punchestown Festival Races.
Based at Russell Park on the Navan Road, St Brigid’s caters for
65 teams at all age levels from nursery, under 9 to adult in hurling,
football, camogie, ladies’ football & handball. “With
our all weather pitch completed and with planning permission granted
on Phase 2, this is an opportunity to continue the development of the
club with changing rooms and hurling wall,” said Mike.
This Race Day package being organised by the club includes
• Entrance to the racecourse and complimentary race card
• Accommodation in the reserved pavilion
• 3 course lunch with wine
• Afternoon tea
• An expert tipster to help guests with their bets
• Access to private tote and private bar facilities
