Local schools end all square

In a match organised by Castleknock GAA Club Coach Brendan Phelan, the budding gaelic football stars from St. Patrick’s and St. Mochta’s schools played out an exciting draw.

The game was played in St. Mochta’s and in front of a large crowd of parisan Mochta’s supporters. St. Mochta’s got of to a flying start but St. Pat’s hit back and from then to the final whistle both sides had periods of dominance. In the end a draw was a fair result for all the endeavour and skill on show.

The game was played in a great atmosphere of sportsmanship and was a credit to all the players, their teachers and their schools.
