Castleknock Summer Fair

Anyone wondering where to go to celebrate Father’s Day might look no further than Beechpark Avenue where Castleknock Educate Together National School (CETNS) will be holding its annual summer fair.

The fair could prove to be the ideal place to pick up a bargain plant, book, DVD, or CD for Dad or maybe even some tasty cakes or scones. Anyone who fancies a small flutter could well bring home something from the ever-popular Tombola. Or for those with a taste for the occult perhaps a tarot card reading might prove interesting.Rachel Perthiani, Negar Wassiee and Ghazal Wassiee enjoying last year’s summer fair at CETNS

Among the attractions which never fail to please the children will be the ever popular bouncy castle and face painting. For the past few weeks CETNS families have been busy filling jam jars with assorted contents for the school’s unique and popular Jam Jar Lucky Dip.

One of the attractions that always distinguishes this event is the fantastic variety of food on offer. Last year’s CETNS fair had delicious food for sale from many different countries including Algeria, Lebanon, Pakistan, Italy, China, and India and this year promises to offer some equally flavoursome international cuisine.

CETNS swummer fair will take place in the school grounds on Beechpark Avenue on Sunday 15th June between 12.30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
