Leinster
Rugby Camp to be held at Coolmine RFC
Coolmine
RFC will host the Leinster rugby summer camp later this month. The event
will begin on Monday June 30th and end on the following Friday July
4th. The camp is aimed at boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old and
is a good opportunity for interested youngsters to get some formal experience
of the oval ball and perhaps the ultimate team sport.
Apart from the actual playing of the sport there are further incentives
for children who participate in the camps. They will receive an Official
Canterbury of New Zealand Rugby Pack which includes a bag, t-shirt,
shorts, socks, ball, and certificate of attendance at the camp.
It also provides a chance to make new friends, meet Leinster players,
learn more about rugby values such as team-work, learn and experience
commitment and integrity, and become more aware of the importance of
physical fitness while also learning to develop the basic rugby skills
of passing, tackling - in a controlled environment - evasion and kicking.
Each camp takes place over one week (Monday to Friday inclusive) between
9:30am and 1:30pm. Fees are €99 per child. There is a small family
discount on offer which is €99 for the first child and €90
per sister/brother thereafter.
