New
boss at IBM
Michael Daly, the man who lead the major developments at IBM’s
Dublin 15 headquarters for the past eight years, has recently retired
from his position as the giant multinational’s chief executive
in Ireland.
His place at the Damastown facility has been taken by Peter O'Neill
who was previously director of sales and distribution in Ireland.
O'Neill joined IBM in 1981 and duing his career to date has held a series
of sales and finance leadership positions in both Europe and America,
including financial controller of the Dublin 15 Technology Campus.
Born and raised in Dublin, he holds a degree in economics from UCD and
is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
He took up his new position on May 27th.
