A night of soul: They have shared the stage with such musical heavyweights as Rod Stewart, John Legend and James Brown. Their performances have been broadcast to 35 million viewers on the BBC and they have performed in front of 82,000 people at Croke Park.
Who are they? Why, the Dublin Gospel Choir, of course!.


Sweeney on course: Coolmine Musical Society’s rehearsals of “Sweeney Todd, which is due to grace the stage of Draíocht next month, are well under way and the cast are starting to become really excited about the forthcoming production as opening night approaches.

Coolmine cabaret and karaoke: Putting on a musical like “Sweeney Todd” does not come cheap and the good people in Coolmine Musical Society are organising a monster fun night out in the Roselawn Inn to help defray expenses.

All about Allyson: Draíocht’s new artist in residence Allyson Keehan, explains her love of painting and the challenges involved in the process. Painting primarily still life in oils, her work exudes a richness of style and composition that has attracted much attention in the art world.

Pushing back the boundaries: John Scott's Irish Modern Dance Theatre is a company whose policy is to create and commission new works and expand the experience of dance theatre for audiences and performers. Its work has left audiences thrilled and sometimes shocked.


Paying the fiddler : “Fiddler on the Roof” by the Pioneer Musical Society plays Draiocht’s main auditorium from Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th October at 8pm. Tickets are €20 / €18.
