  New Wyeth headquarters launched: “This investment of €5 million and the creation of 24 new jobs is a demonstration of our confidence in the strength of the Irish economy,” said Wyeth Ireland’s General Manager, Emmet Browne at the official opening of the company’s new corporate headquarters at Plaza 254 in Blanchardstown Corporate Park 2. The complex will also support the creation of four new departments, namely medical, regulatory, corporate affairs and operations and quality.


eBay expansion – but not in D15: The current shortage of office accommodation in the Dublin 15 area has lead one of the area’s largest employers to look outside the area for offices to expand its current operation.Online auction giant eBay is at present seeking new offices to allow for the expansion of its PayPal subsidiary.



Start your own business : While many people still appreciate the concept of the “safe, secure pensionable job”, more and more people are considering the prospect of being their own boss and setting up in business for themselves.
