Creative Labs job losses: A decision by multinational company Creative Labs to outsource more of its Dublin 15 operations will result in 50 workers being made redundant at its Ballycoolin plant.

70 jobs to go at Symantec : June is proving a bad month for technology jobs in Dublin 15. Hot on the heels of the news that Creative Labs was outsourcing 50 jobs to the Far East comes the bad news that neighbouring firm Symantec is to cut 70 jobs from its Irish operation in Ballycoolin.

Phenomenal demand for seminars : The afternoon business seminars run by Blanchardstown Area Partnership have been proving so successful in recent months that Niall Comber, the Partnership’s enterprise development manager has been obliged to arrange a number of new dates to meet the phenomenal demand for these seminars.
