Great turn out for Tolka Opening Day: Since the Tolka River Environmental Alliance (TREA) was launched in 2005, it has had a tremendous impact on the stretch of river that flows between the M50 and Damastown.

Herbert’s big sweep: Members of the Herbert Road Resident’s Association took to the road recently in their first ever annual spring clean.

Art sale at Coolmine Rugby Club: A reminder to all art lovers in the area that the extremely popular Castleknock Art Group annual painting sale / exhibition takes place at Coolmine Rugby Club, River Road next weekend.

Skulduggery at the Centre: Derek Landy was 31 years old and working on the family farm in Lusk when Harper Collins reputedly signed him up for a fee of £1m (€1.3m) after reading his first novel “Skulduggery Pleasant.” A chain of foreign rights deals followed, interest was intense at the Bologna Book Fair and the tale of the dead skeletal magician is now enchanting children in over thirty countries.
