Porterstown centre opened: The ribbon to the new centre was cut by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin after a celebratory mass in the adjoining parish church on Porterstown Road.

25 years of community support: 50-25-10 was the catchy slogan used by Clonsilla Credit Union to mark this year’s celebration of a number of key anniversaries.

Huntstown celebrates : Friday October 3rd was a red letter day for the pupils, past pupils, parents and teachers of Sacred Heart of Jesus National School in Huntstown.

Harvest time in Mulhuddart : Once upon a time Dublin 15 was a rural area comprising four small villages (Blanchardstown, Castleknock, Clonsilla and Mulhuddart) surrounded by large swathes of farmland. In those days autumn was a time of plenty and a time for celebration as the harvest was brought in and larders restocked for the coming winter. The time was celebrated with festivals and services of thanksgiving in the local churches.
