Stronger together – Community safety week : Over the past few years Safer Blanchardstown have organised a Community Safety Week for the area at the end of September. Each year a theme is adopted for the project and this year’s theme is “Stronger together.”

A centre for all the community : For some years now, Mulhuddart Community Centre has been playing a vital role in developing the local community. The aim of the centre is to encourage the all local residents to take part in educational, cultural and fun activities in a friendly environment.

Scouts represent Dublin 15 at Swedish Jamboree : The Scouts of Áth Cliath 15 Scout County were well represented at the recent 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden.

Rain fails to dampen spirits at Tyrrelstown Fun Day : Despite some heavy showers on the day the recent annual Tyrrelstown Residents Association Fun Day proved extremely successful with hundreds of local residents coming along to enjoy the fun.

All change at Toastmasters : As from July, a new committee has taken over the Phoenix-Tara Toastmasters club after five and a half very successful years of existence.

Coffee mornings : One of the biggest charity fundraising events of the year is the annual Hospice Coffee Morning.

Scrabbling through Winter : Blanchardstown Scrabble Club meet to grapple with ‘y’s and ‘z’s and mind their ‘p’s and ‘q’s every Monday night in St. Brigid’s Community Centre
