international medal for Lisa Kurtz: Lisa has again brought home
a medal from a European kickboxing event, this time winning a silver medal
in the International Golden Gloves tournament, which was held in Treviso,
Italy.

for Coolmine Community School’s athletes: The great contribution
that Coolmine Community school makes to the area was rewarded recently on
the athletics field as both boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams
acquitted themselves very well at the recent school’s championship
in Galway with the latter winning the silver medal.
