 National Aquatic Centre announces summer camps details: The National Aquatic Centre (NAC) in Blanchardstown, has just announced the launched of its 2008 Summer Camps. Always one of the highlights of the year at the ever-busy centre, this year’s camps will be twice as long as previous years.

 
Old Trafford trip for Corduff boys: A group of young footballers from Corduff recently enjoyed a trip to Old Trafford including a tour of the ground and dressing-rooms. It was a reward for the remarkable achievement of winning a competition which included 111 teams in Dublin.
Coolmine fall at semi-final stage of Spencer Cup: The curtain came down on the 2007-08 season for Coolmine rugby with a semi-final defeat at Ashbrook against Seapoint. This was the home club’s second loss to this opposition in a few weeks.

Castleknock Celtic Under 11s romp to victory to clinch the League: Castleknock Celtic clinched the NDSL Under 11s C league on Sunday last with a 5-0 victory away to Balscacdden. This completed a terrific run for the boys and girls from Castleknock with a remarkable record of twelve wins, one draw and just one defeat.

Benefit night for family of young footballer: The recent benefit night organised by Mountview Boys & Girls football club for the family of 10 year old Peter Whelan who died tragically in Coolmine swimming pool in March, was a great success
Kung Fu classes in Castleknock:
For anyone who has ever had an interest in trying out a martial art but never quite got around to it an opportunity is just around the corner. Shi Xing Jun, a 32nd Generation SongShan Shaolin Temple Martial Monk, and the Only Shaolin Monk in Ireland, will be holding classes in the area in the near future.
