Harold
be thy name :
Imagine if God came down to Stoneybatter for a day and listened to the
reflections of an old Dub? Imagine further that this was not the uber-perfect,

Little
Gem: One
of the lesser-publicised, but no less valid, arts in Dublin 15 is the
traditional art of jewellery making. Whereas fine arts and performing
arts tend to garner all the headlines, some people have the idea that
ancient crafts continue to labour along in the shadows, seemingly practiced
by a few die-hard Luddites.

Rain:
Just as Draíocht is committed to providing high quality
for all ages, so Spréacha, the children’s festival, is always
careful not to exclude the very, very young from its schedule.
|
|
Boxes
wanted: On the last weekend in June, Draíocht’s
main auditorium will be transformed into a giant indoor city, courtesy
of a horde of small children using cardboard boxes as their raw material.

| Books
for the housebound: Fingal Housebound Library Service
was formally established in 2001 as part of a commitment to equality of
access for all. In particular, it was designed to cater for those who
for reasons of age, incapacity or illness are unable to leave home, hospital
or other care facilities to access a public library in Fingal.

Davy
awards at Farmleigh: The opening of Farmleigh’s
Gallery is a sure sign for art lovers that summer is once again upon us.

|
|
The
stage is set:
As the incredibly talented young people of Stagezone Theatre School
complete their ninth year, all the focus is naturally on the end of year
extravaganza for which this company has become renowned.

Summer

For the fifth consecutive summer, Footprints Dance Academy’s summer
camp will be instructing children in the myriad forms of dance available,
from ballet and creative dance to musical theatre and hip hop. |
