Sam visits Blanchardstown : “Barry Cahill went to school here while Bernard Brogan wished that he went to school here.” So said veteran sports commentator and one time Dublin 15 resident, Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh as he introduced former pupils of Scoil Bhríde and now members of the victorious Dublin All-Ireland football panel to ecstatic present day pupils at their old school in Blanchardstown.

Erin Go Brágh on top in local derby : Erin go Brágh advanced to the quarter finals of the Junior D football championship after a game that was more closely contested than the final scoreline might suggest.

First Half Blitz secures semi-final place for Brigids : St. Brigids senior hurlers again defied the odds in their recent quarter final clash against much fancied St Vincents in Parnell Park.
Coolmine move to third with local victory : Coolmine faced local rivals Garda in Westmanstown recently in the first of this year’s local derbies.
